Day 16 - Least Favorite Version of Cid

My least favorite version of Cid is...

Cid Highwind of FFVII

Though he is playable, I disliked him because he is foul-mouthed.

Day 15 - Favorite Version of Cid

Cid appears in FFI-FFX as a recurring character. My favorite version is

Cid Del Norte Marquez from FFVI

For me, he has the best story. Too bad I made him die by accident in the World of Ruin.

Day 14 - Favorite "Cheerful Girl"

Here's my top 3 for "cheerful girl"

1. Eiko (FFIX)

2. Krile (FFV)

3. Relm (FFVI)

Day 13 - Least Favorite Temporary Character

My least favorite temporary character is...

Banon from Final Fantasy VI

He's pathetically weak. Low attack and low defense. What's more? He's not allowed to be KO'ed. Else it's game over. He's only useful for his pray, which heals the party. The problem is he can easily be knocked out by Ultros because of his low level.

Day 12 - Favorite Temporary Character

My favorite temporary character is...

General Beatrix of Final Fantasy 9.

For me she is the strongest temporary character. Her attack and Seiken are devastating, and combined with White magic for emergencies, makes her an offensive character that can also support. Her only downside is her little MP pool and her high MP Seiken.

Unfortunately, she is only used for a VERY SHORT time.

Day 11 - Least Favorite Boss Battle

This is my least favorite boss battle. This battle is from Final Fantasy III. The main tactic based from the guides is to have all in Dragoon job then have all of them Jump. It took me five tries before I finally won the battle. It's the thunder spell which makes the battle hard because 2 hits from this spell can kill a character. Even with Jump, the attack can still miss, making it even harder.

The battle is mostly based on luck, whether you jump first or you'll be hit by thunder first..

Day 10 - Favorite Boss Battle

My favorite boss battle is...

The final battle with The Emperor of Final Fantasy II

It's my favorite because I'VE GOT THE BLOOD SWORD! F*CK YEAH!

Day 9 - Least Favorite Villain

My least favorite villain is...

Ultimecia of Final Fantasy VIII.

What can she do? Possess other people. Compress time. That's it?
She lacks her own story. Most of her story is from other characters she possessed. The player won't even know who the real villain is until disc 3, where Ultimecia is revealed.

Day 8 - Favorite Villain

My favorite villain is...

Kefka of Final Fantasy VI

Who would you have thought to be a villain? A crazy guy who hungers for power. He has a lot of encounters which makes him an exciting boss. He has his notorious laugh and his funny quotes.

  • Son of a Submariner!
  • "Wait," he says... Do I look like a waiter?
He is also a crazy villain in Dissidia, and he looks like a clown, making him look crazier. He's so crazy the last thing he knows is to destroy everything.

For me, he deserves a LOL meme.

Day 7 - Least Favorite Character

My least favorite character is...

Strago Magus of Final Fantasy VI.

For me, he's a weakling. For the first reason, he's a blue mage and must be hit with the spell to learn blue magic. Though he has high magic stat, Terra and Celes surpasses him. For me, using magic than lore is more useful.

Day 5 - Favorite Female Character

My favorite female character is...

Terra Branford of Final Fantasy VI

She is the first female protagonist of the series. A half-human, half-esper. She's a powerhouse and the best spellcaster for the whole game. She has a great character development throughout the story. For her ultimate trick, equip 1 mp cost relic and doublecast relic (I forgot what they're called), use morph, cast Ultima then quick, then four more Ultimas during the quick turn. She's also my favorite Dissidia character.

She comes in second...

Celes Chere, also from Final Fantasy VI

Day 4 - Favorite Male Character

My favorite male character is...

Steiner of Final Fantasy IX (a.k.a. Rusty)

He's very loyal to Princess Garnet. He always gets mad at Zidane during the first part of the game because he places much importance to the safety of Garnet. He places much importance to his job. As the game progresses, he becomes friendly to Zidane.

He respects Vivi, even though he's younger because of his skills. On their battle against the guardian of the seal, he takes a sacrifice by being the tank so Vivi can aim his spell perfectly.

Btw... I also like his clinking armor when he walks.

Day 3 - Favorite Party for each Final Fantasy game

Here are my parties for each game:

Final Fantasy

Knight and Master for damage, Ninja for offense boosting spells and offense, and White Wizard for support.

Final Fantasy II

Firion, Maria and Guy are the main three characters. I chose Minwu to be the fourth because he has a lot of support magic and he starts out with a high level of Cure and Life. He is also the best candidate for Ultima. Too bad he dies later in the game.

Final Fantasy III

Two Ninjas and two Sages. These are the best jobs in the game. Another choice would be 4 Onion Knights only if they are fully equipped (FEOK).

Final Fantasy IV

The final party is very obvious. It is supposed to be Cecil, Rosa, Edge, Rydia, Kain. But if given a chance to change them, I would replace Kain with Yang because of his speed. Kain is such a slowpoke.

Final Fantasy V

*****Let's skip this for now because I haven't finished this yet.*****

Final Fantasy VI

I chose Terra and Celes because they are the best mages; Edgar because of Chainsaw and Drill, Sabin because he can heal the party with his blitz and he has nice attack power.

Final Fantasy VII

Cloud, Yuffie and Red XIII. Period. Doesn't matter much because the materia is all that matters.

Final Fantasy VIII

Squall, Irvine and Zell. Cast Aura. Spam their limit breaks. These three have my favorite limit breaks - especially Zell's because with "fast hands" he'll be unstoppable. These three are what I say "you work for the damage dealt"

Final Fantasy IX

Zidane, Steiner, Vivi and Eiko. Zidane is the main character. One of my rules is "Where Steiner goes, Vivi goes" because of Sword Magic especially Flare Sword. Vivi also has the Reflect x2 which can be devastating with Flare. Eiko is my support character because of her Double White which is useful in critical situations. I also favor double Holy than Eidolon.

Final Fantasy X

For fully-upgraded Celestial Weapons, I choose Tidus because of his speed and Hastega; Yuna because of Aeons, Holy and support spells; Lulu for Doublecast Flare with each cast exceeding 9999.
